Delicious Teriyaki Chicken Without Nasty Brown Sugar
If you’re tired of traditional grilled chicken and are looking for a way to liven up your dinner meal, teriyaki chicken can be a great choice.
While traditional teriyaki chicken is loaded with sugar and calories, this recipe takes a slimmer approach, creating the perfect blend of flavours that will have you maintaining a lower calorie intake.
Ideal for those who are watching their weight, this recipe proves you don’t have to sacrifice taste for nutrition.
We’ve replaced the traditionally used brown sugar with a healthier sugar substitute instead and used natural pineapple, which is rich in digestive enzymes and adds further sweetness.
The recipe also has added vegetables to help boost the fibre content while giving you a wealth of nutrients at the same time.
Serve this healthy chicken teriyaki over a bed of brown rice or over some whole-wheat noodles – whatever you prefer.
